Bridge collapses under a van in Chitral

Bridge over the Laspur river at Istordaini Mastuj, collapsed Tuesday evening, under a loaded van, resulting in the van plunging into the ferocious river. The driver is missing while the conductor swam out to safety. The ill fated van was coming from Gilgit with a cargo of steel bars.
